When you sign up for FlirtNextDoor, you might actually feel it as convenient since the process is just very easy. All you need is to input some basic information such as name, birthday, location and email address. Facebook sign-up is not available so you must have a working email account to verify your registration.

Once you received the link in your email, you can click on it and you'll be redirected to the last part of the registration process. You have the option to skip the basic profile set-up, ot do it right away.

You can connect with other members of FlirtNextDoor in different ways. For female members, everything is free. For male members, some features are free, some need credits.

Messaging can be done in two ways: instant messaging (IM) and classic email style. There is also a video chatting feature if you want a virtual-face-to-face conversation.

Since the site also has a social media platform touch, you can add other members as your buddies (friends or favourites in other sites) so you won't lose their account. You can access their profiles easier when you in "buddies".

The online status of a member is visible on the profile page, together with the links to sending the mail, add buddy, flirt, and IM. There are also tabs which shows some narratives. The tabs include About Me, Photos, Recent Updates, Buddies, and other additional information.
