Creating an account on Luxy can be easy, but getting approved is harder. The registration process prompts you to provide an email, a username, your birthday, and your gender. Your account needs to be verified via email. Once this is done, you need at least 50% approval from existing users.

This works by letting existing users vote "yes" or "no" to a new member, as in a vouching system before you can start to date. Users help in filtering out unwanted new members. The results are computed by dividing the number of positive votes by the total number of voters.

Find the One

This AI system automatically matches nearby users with a compatible member. Find the One will alert users every night when their match has been made, as the AI will scan all members in the area and pair them up based on their preferences and common interests. Each match would have a score indicating how likely the pair would click.

Planet Blind Box

In this new feature, users can "drop" voice notes for other users to listen to and reply to if they so desire.

Every user will be sent into a virtual space and begin hearing these cosmic audio messages. Once a person responds to a message, they will be given a planet where they may send their messages.

The vouching process during registration helps a lot in making the profiles complete. It is because users tend to give positive ratings more if a person's profile has a lot of information and does not seem like a rushed, fake profile.

You will see fake profiles on the site that use images from public photo-sharing websites. If these profiles match your criteria, they will be in your search results for only a few days. Luxy's "Anti-Scam System" detects these fake profiles and removes their account entirely.
